I got my 15 minutes of dog fame when I ‘designed’ Trina’s Starlight Lounge dog of the day, so this Sunday I’ll have to be on the porch watching the big dogs strut their stuff. From 2-6, at Dante in Cambridge join some if the area’s top culinary dogs as they vie for the title of ‘best dressed dog’.

It will be quite a show with this line up: Jamie Bissonnette, Toro/Coppa, Anthony Caturano, Prezza, Brian Dandro, ArtBar, Evan Deluty, Stella/29 Sudbury, Louis DiBiccari, Tavern Road, Tiffani Faison & Dan Raia, Sweet Cheeks, Jeff Fournier, 51 Lincoln/Waban Kitchen, Chris Frothingham, Vine Brook Tavern, Will Gilson, Puritan & Company, Colin Lynch, Barbara Lynch Gruppo , Sam Monsour, (most recently from) JM Curley, Matthew Morello, Brasserie28, Rodney Murillo, Davio’s, Jason Santos, Blue Inc./Abby Lane/Back Bay Harry’s, Frank Toohey, The Neighborhood Restaurant Group (Biltmore Bar & Grille/Local 149) and Josh Ziskin of LaMorra.

The edible ‘pageant’ will take place on the Dante patio, overlooking the Charles River. Chefs will return to the culinary battlefield to serve up their best dressed, all grass fed beef hotdogs. Attendees will be provided with score cards to rate the ‘best dressed’ hot dog creations from 1 to 10 and the winner will be announced at 5:00PM.
