Thursday Feb 19 we had expensive seats for the 1 p.m. Disney on Ice Frozen show at TD Garden for my 10 year old granddaughter. We were there in plenty of time however due to the recent extreme amounts of snow, parking bans, one way streets and poor transit transportation we could not find a parking space anywhere within miles of the Garden. Needless to say we missed the show (tickets were over $400 for 3) and no one could do anything about possibly scheduling us for another date and/or time. I did take the insurance offered on the tickets through Allianz Global Assistance. They claim that we are not eligible for a refund, however, one of their reason in their contract is missing event due to delay in Common Carrier used for transportation, ie the “T”.
Since the “T” is not fully operational a lot of people who work in Boston have been driving in thus using parking spaces that normally would be available for venue patrons.

Ticketmaster could do nothing. Allianz sent me a claim for to document my reasons, copies of proof of purchase and they also needed the tickets. I don’t have a lot of faith in anyone doing anything but I do think there were extenuating circumstances and refund should be given.

So sorry about that experience. I am surprised you were unable to park at the north station garage. This storm has really put a damper on things for so many individuals and businesses.
