In addition to pumpkins popping up everywhere, there is a chill in the air.  The leaves are beginning to change and this weekend is definitely a fall weekend.  We have one rainy day and one sunny day coming up this weekend so here are a few ideas to make the most of it.

Saturday

Nothing says “It’s the weekend” than some fresh donuts and on a rainy day in the South End stepping into Party of Two: Stacked Donuts and Trademark Tarts pop up at Coppa opens at 9:30 a.m. and there will be doughnuts, a doughnut breakfast sandwich, Trademark tarts, and another surprise pastry.

If you prefer meat to sweet, then celebrate a rainy Saturday with Savenor’s for their Grand Reopening in Cambridge.  Sampling and a butcher demo from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

In our house we have been long awaiting the opening of BoxTrolls.  This Saturday will be the perfect day to head to your local cinema and catch a flick as a family.
