If you want you grab a bite heading to or from Boston Calling here are my suggestions:
Diner food and just a fun chill spot: Breakfast Club
A great burger, hog wings or a kale Ceasar Salad: Article 24
Spacious place to chill and enjoy a twisted pretzel or jam filled sugar donut: Swissbakers

Pizza (gluten-free too) or a salad in the funky little garage door building: Stone Hearth Pizza
Cross the river to Harvard Sq.
Give me coffee and a bite to eat stat! Then, head to: Crema Café, Flour Bakery, or for some old school Harvard/ truly Cambridge vibe go to Darwins.

Darwin’s on Mt. Auburn has “The Rusty Meow” special: two over medium eggs, bacon, avocado, arugula, and ranch on your choice of bread. Inspired by @maliachan as her love letter to @hola_gil. I need to sit down and relax to enjoy a nice leisurely meal: Henrietta’s Table (farm to table way before that was even a thing)
Alden & Harlow (Great bar and cocktails. Many interesting small plates and a secret burger that is always sold out because its not a secret)
Corn pancakes with shishito peppers. One of many killer combos and Alden and Harlow in Cambridge, MA for my first meal back in the states since my European adventure. This place has great vibes, cocktails and a noticeably attentive staff to go along with there amazing menu. Everything I ate was exciting and delicious!! #stAyfoodie #backhome #aldenandharlow #corncakes

Night Market (step down into this crazy little spot for some sake slushies and mouth numbing chicken or other tasty bites)
Beat Brasserie (feel like you just stepped back to Woodstock time and definitely get an order of the buffalo cauliflower)

Something quick: Portland Maine’s Otto Pizza (by the slice) or NYC’s Liquiteria (smoothie/juice)
Or, venture down to Central Square:
Go Vegan and raw (but you don’t have to be either) at Life Alive, Get my favourite avocado sandwich at Mariposa Cafe, or stop into Little Donkey for some chilaquiles or a bagel with roe and yuzu.
